OUR STORY

 

Starting some 20 years ago, Bill Uppal has always reasoned that a great design is based on solid principals. One can never anticipate all possible issues but one should know the important ones. With that in mind a solid foundation needs to be set before building up. This goes for brick and mortar as well as the basis of a great design.

 

Spending the first 10 years after graduating from Architectural Technology in the offices of various architects. Bill worked on residential and commercial projects, learning to appreciate the overall planning and technical knowledge required of various projects. One needs to know what the space is before looking at what it can be. Bill wants to make sure that the vision can take root, whether it is an empty lot or an existing space.

 

The latter half of his experience has been working in the offices of Interior Design firms including 9 years at the award winning office of MacKay|Wong Strategic Design, this has provided valuable knowledge of the more personal ties a person has with the space and the function it provides to the overall business. Experience that truly provides form and function.
